i know it feels good to hate people you’re convinced are evil (whether they’re actually bad people or not) but like. that good feeling lasts a moment and the erosion of your compassion remains within you until you actively try to rebuild it. and rebuilding your capacity to be compassionate towards others after leaning into hate for so long is actually really fucking difficult.
