cue issac climbing into henry's lap with arms around his neck, lips pressing random kisses to his face and really anywhere else he sees fit <3
"Oh, hello, love." Henry softly laughed as his face was peppered with soft kisses. "To what do I owe this pleasure?" His hands came to hold Issac's hips as he hummed with a satisfying feeling. "Someone's needy this evening." / @kcntsugi

does your muse have a short fuse when it comes to temper?
No. Henry refuses to be like this father and luckily he isn't. He's the same as his mother was, slow to anger and very, very rarely ever shouts. If he gets overwhelmed he goes for a walk to cool off. He's more likely to quietly shut down than fight with someone he loves. He doesn't handle anger well, in the sense that he doesn't like how it makes him feel. He does get upset of course, but he'll never let anger get the best of him.
what is something your muse wants to tell others, but is too afraid to?
His ability is the main thing. It's a hard hurdle to get over when he meets someone new. He also wishes that everyone knew that this life wasn't all there is, that there's no need to fear your death. He's not sure what to call it, but the afterlife is real. He knows this is his burden to bare though, his talent. But it's always a relief for him when he can tell a partner who he really is and what he can do, and be accepted anyway.

who does your muse hate?
Henry doesn't hate anyone. Even those who have hurt him badly he has managed to forgive. As a cop he has hate for the heinous actions people commit, and an unjust system; but no one person in particular.
how does your muse handle grief?
It still hurts, losing someone in your life will always be a blow. But he handles it as best he can because has the knowledge that this life isn't all there is and he'll see them again someday.
what is your muse’s biggest regret?
He regrets not being able to protect his mother even though he was just a child. He knows logically that it wasn't his fault, but emotionally he wishes she would have had a better life and that he could have helped her.
how many scars does your muse have?
Henry only has minor scars here and there. The normal type every person has. He's not been injured badly or had any surgeries, so he doesn't have any pronounced markings.
how long can your muse hold a grudge?
With his father he held onto that rage for a long time, probably until he was in his 20's. Now, he doesn't hold grudges at all. If someone wrongs him he'll be weary of them them, for sure, but it doesn't consume his thoughts. He knows that life is short and fleeting and carrying a grudge does no good.
how does your muse handle loneliness?
Henry is very happy with his own company these days, in his little house with his cat, Max. But when he was young, he was often the odd ball and had few friends, and being queer on top of it made him feel lonelier than everyone else. It was hard to deal with growing up but now he's come to terms with it and has a better understanding of himself. He is very keen to form new relationships though, and will dive into affection and love. He doesn't intend to live alone forever. In some verses he certainly doesn't! He can be a lone man or a family man.
❤️❔ (oh you know i'd send this in)
not even mad if you couldn't see it but i just gotta stay true to henry xD
Send '❤️❔' if you'd be interested in discussing a potential ship between our muses! || @neunzehn21
The likelihood that I'd ever turn down a ship in general is low, and MUCH lower if it's already one of my mutuals, hehe. I've always been a lil' ship whore, which works out because Henry is just a whore.

⚡️ did henry always want to become a detective?
Yes. When he was a kid he probably flipped flopped like boys do, and wanted to be all kinds of different things. But by the time he was a teen and more in control of his ability and what it could mean by helping others, he set his sights on police work. He wanted to go straight into the academy after school but when he received a full scholarship to Stanford his Aunt Jeanie would have killed him if he let that opportunity go by. So he went, did his four years in criminology and other related studies, then went to the police academy.
⚡️ is being a detective for real different from how he imagined it?
Yes, simply because he didn't really know what to expect. No one his his family was ever in law enforcement so he had no information on what it meant. His uniform days were probably the most chaotic, he never knew what call was going to come next. And being a proper detective years later was different than he expected, but also 100x more rewarding and perfect for him.
⚡️ would he ever become a detective again if he could? if not, what would be his reason(s)?
I think if he were to do it all over again, he would. He doesn't have any regrets and he'll probably he an old ass man before he ever retires. Henry is one of those people who found their calling in life, he considers himself lucky in that way.
⚡️ how does henry deal with "fear of loss"? e.g. losing someone he loves to crime / death / murder ?
Henry knows that death isn't the end, and that does bring him some peace. But he is afraid of losing those he loves just because he'd have to live without them. Death is easier on the person leaving than the ones left behind. Henry knows this is the real truth; dying is easy, it's life that's hard. But each have their own beauty. He handles it the same as any other person usually would. You have to ache, and hurt, and give yourself time to grieve.

Henry rolled over and rubbed at his eyes with a sleepy smile. "Have you been waiting for me to wake up just to tell me that?" He gazed at Domino, who was once again wearing one of Henry's t-shirts, which had become a tradition lately.
He stroked the side of The Don's face gently with his fingers. "It's a good thing I'm still naked from last night then." He took Domino's hand and guided it to his aching morning wood, which was impressively hard.
"Climb up here and ride me."
