“Do you now? Please, impress me.”
" Hey Gavin! Wanna see how many jelly beans I can fit into my mouth ?"
“I... you know what? Yea, show me. Let’s see. I’ll count.”

Grace nodded, slowly, as if processing his response. Her ears twitched. “Makes sense. You smell little bit like him,” the hybrid mentioned, almost off-handedly.
" You got stabbed again.."
“And...?”

“I’ve been dealing with imbeciles. I’ve been trying to expand the Labs and discovered some kiddie camps with camp councilors that are morons. It’s stressing me out and you’re never around. You’re lucky I haven’t thought of a punishment for your disappearance.”

Affection in a public domain wasn’t his forte, but whatever. He was victorious in defeating Vav, bringing the hero to his knees. He didn’t kill him, however, for Kerry’s sake. Word spread that the Corpirate had messed with the hero, erasing his memories. It would be a perfect time to strike once more, to manipulate the Brit into his side, but for now, he wanted to relax. Now being touched gently by the former hero, he sighed in content. He was expecting to be lashed out at, due to Null Ray’s arrogance and unable to behave from authority. “Thank you, I suppose.”
"We seem to have gotten through to them during negotiations."
“I’m glad to see them pull through. I’m proud of you. Such a lovely husband.”
[ Closed between @drcgonfce | @null-rxy | @thedynamichero . Do reply in tag order so we can keep track! ] It was time for the master plan to unfold. The Mad King was fed up with Vav and Dragonface’s antics. The kid kept fleeing to the other hero, but this would be the last time he’d get to run to him. X-Ray’s mission was about to happen. Well, Null Ray’s. The monarch had tossed aside that green rubbish and replaced it with a crimson and coal coloured attire. Of course, he still had his normal insignia with the broken crown behind it. It had more than just silly trinkets made from the landfill. Scientists, including the king himself, added multiple new attributes to it. If he were to betray the other, it was set to explode on him. Some may call it cheating, but it was just his pawn’s turn to play. Little did he know that Hilda had upgraded Vav’s suit as well, but not as dangerous. Now, standing on their selected battlefield, the Mad King stood back beside one of his many large robots. It was the backup plan, just in case this failed miserably. Someone wasn’t going to leave this area alive. Ryan would make damned sure of it. Unless... His multi-coloured hues settled upon the heroic duo past the ex-hero. His gaze was darkened and full of spite. It switched from Vav to his son. A frown stamped itself on his lips as he spoke. “What a pleasure.” He began, malice in his voice, “Grab your popcorn, little boy. The adults are about to play a game of survival. You best step aside, you little traitor. It’d be a fair one-on-one. I step aside, you step aside. We’ll watch from the sidelines.” Then, he turned to Null Ray, revealing a small vial with strange red, glittery fluid. He brought it out with a needle, soon injecting it into the traitorous hero’s arm. “My dear. Remember what I told you. This’ll set in quickly. You remember this little thing from the labs, yes? What we’ve discussed. I’d really hate to see you blown to bits. I was starting to like you.” Returning those dagger filled hues, he spoke to Vav. “As for you. You may have tricked my little boy into your stupid antics of being heroic, but it’s pathetic child’s play. I’m going to enjoy watching the light die in your eyes and your screams will be music to my ears!”
