took a break from commissions/Christmas gifts to make some flags to pin to my purse

So I saw one of these posts by @faeriiess and immediately knew I had to make some so here's the first. Still need to flatten it but here it is. Made this one specifically because I had enough shades of purple yarn. Appreciated having the pattern! Check out their Kofi for comms and patterns!!

IT'S DONE.

I did it, I finished this bitch. Original pixel Jon by @podaliedja. Christ this took forever. I stitched Jon twice over because I decided I wanted to move him over by one pixel. But I like this so much better than the first version.

Here's the first version if you want to play spot the difference.

It looks a bit brighter because of the lighting, but I used the same yarns in both pieces so that's just a light thing.

Phew, it's done!

I've always wanted to participate in a DTIYS but uh. Kinda hard with my medium. But thanks to the lovely sprite work by @podaliedja, I can! I put in a request with her for altered Jon and Martin sprites and she delivered

So that was what enabled me to make this. Have some alternate lighting:

But yeah. Jon in this dress is a beautiful creature. I love him. Also first time I've made Martin apparently. There are some things I would change if I was too make it again but it's perfectly fine as is, so. Tada! Time to crawl back into my totk hole.

I'm not alt texting these, it's just a bunch of yarn. Anyways...

The plushie base is going to be... Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet! Because bless them for having released an official pattern for free, I have made so many of these things.

I still have materials I need to source, but I can at least start now that I have the yarn!! 🧶🧶🧶💛💛💛

I need to get better at taking photos of these things, they don't lay perfectly flat when I'm done so I should start flattening them under some books and figure out a decent lighting situation... Ugh

Also not completely happy with Jane because you can't see the color variations on her skin well but I was winging it with whatever yarn I had available as I always do
