"Ah-- merry Christmas, Akihiko." A smile was curving on her rouged lips as Mitsuru approached the silver-haired boxer, holding in her hands two boxes. "I wasn't quite sure what you wanted, but..." Almost hesitantly, she offered him the two neatly-wrapped boxes in her hands. They were covered in a seperate dark scarlet and azure blue wrapping papers, and both adorned by silver and golden ribbons.
Inside the first scarlet box was a pair of brandname leather gloves, chosen exclusively for their quality and comfort, while in the second azure box were two objects. The first was a watch with a black digital watch that included some useful features that she knew would be suited to his taste, such as a heart rate monitor, and water resistantry. Placed alongside was a bottle of probiotic protein powder.
"I... hope these are to your liking," Mitsuru spoke a moment later with a gentle smile. In a softer tone, she added with a gentle smile, "Joyeuses fêtes, Akihiko."
Akihiko eyed the boxes curiously as he accepted them from Mitsuru, wondering what has her on the edge about them. It was beautifully wrapped, and knowing Mitsuru, he was sure that the gifts that lay beyond were well thought of, so what did she have to worry about, really?
He slowly cracked a bemused smile upon unwrapping the first gift, given how people took it upon themselves to send him that rather expensive gift. Did his current gloves look really that worn out?
However, the contents of the second box caught his eye, and it was with a wide smile that he regarded them, then a frown. It must have been expensive, and even if cost was not an issue with Mitsuru, it was going to be hard reciprocating this gift.
"Thank you, Mitsuru." Regardless, he tilted his head towards Mitsuru and returned her smile. "Merry Christmas to you as well."
