Cleveland Browns Draft Quandary (part 2)

The 2nd option for the Browns is to select the top player on their board with the number 1 overall pick. This will likely come down to 2 defensive linemen, Myles Garrett, from Texas A&M and Jonathan Allen from Alabama. Both of these picks will fill a massive need for the Browns due to the lack of pass rush during the season. Allen is a smart and physical player who has experience playing in a 3-4 system that the Browns have been running, along with showing the versatility to play a multitude of positions on the line and the strength to push the pocket, both pressuring the quarterback and stifling a running game. He has shown the ability to be a dominant 3-4 defensive end and could push the Brown defense to the next level. On the other hand Myles Garrett is a once in a decade physical talent from Texas A&M, at over 260 he has the potential to run a 4.5 at the combine, though he has boasted that his goal speed is a 4.3. Garrett was a limited to pass rushing duty early in his A&M career though he has turned into a complete player this year and has shown the ability to work through double and triple teams at the college level while staying productive. Garrett could be placed at the outside linebacker position and become the dominant outside threat in the mold of a Khalil Mack or Von Miller. The Browns defense would greatly appreciate an addition to their front 7 and could very quickly turn it into a top NFL unit with linebackers like Christian Kirksey, Demario Davis and Jamie Collins and defensive lineman like Emmanuel Ogbah, Danny Shelton and Carl Nassib. Several of these players were high draft picks and all have flashed tremendous playmaking ability at the NFL level. However there may be too many holes on the Browns roster to fix in one draft and the Browns front office may be forced to resort to the third option

Okay, now that I’ve show you my mock draft (in alphabetical order) I want to know what you think about it and if you like to make some changes to it before July 19th.  Remember that’s the date for the official WWE Draft in which everyone’s fate will be revealed.

Now, the big question will be who will go number 1 overall?  Well, I drew about 3 names before finally settling on Seth Rollins.  What that mean is that I’m predicting that whoever runs RAW or SmackDown will select Rollins as the number 1 overall pick.  Now will Seth Rollins be number 1 overall for real.  We’re really not sure but knowing that whoever’s in charge should really think clearly when selecting this number 1 pick.  We don’t want another Rock-like moment or John Cena 2011.  Anyway, enjoy my mock draft results and tune in to the official WWE Draft on July 19th on USA Network here in America and on various tv stations including Sky Sports and SportsNet and other sports stations worldwide.

Former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Greg Oden has signed a one-year, $1.2 million deal to play for the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to multiple media reports.

The 7-foot Oden, who was selected by the Portland Trail Blazers over Kevin Durant with the top pick in the 2007 draft, has been limited to 105 games due to multiple microfracture knee surgeries and other issues. He last played for the Miami Heat in 2013-14, appearing in 23 games after a three-season layoff.

The 27-year-old center has averaged 8.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game over his NBA career, during which he has made $24.4 million.

In February, Oden struck a plea deal with prosecutors to settle battery charges involving a former girlfriend.
