Sabres fans!

Trevor Zegras is a possibly 7th pick in the draft and it’s been clear by twitter that, by most Sabres fans, this is the “worst pick and we should trade it”. So to hopefully change your minds I gathered up some information from watching Trevor and other scout reports and brought them to you to hopefully change your mind on this pick!

-Trevor is USNTDP player and headed to Boston university.

-he may not be Cole Caufield or Jack Hughes, but he’s got an amazing range and sight on the ice which causes him to be a potential scoring threat.

-Trevors skating ability is quite off the charts and it separates him and other players he has an amazing ability to play at a high speed and with that he creates big plays and lead him to beat any one-on-one plays.

-on his line he’s a primary play maker that may go unrecognized upon players like Cole and Jack on his team.

-Trevor’s game in a nutshell looks a lot Evgeny Kuznetsov.

To sum this up there is nothing to be mad about for getting a 7th pick. We have not seen Trevor Zegras play NCAA, but there is no doubt in my mind he will be a phenomenal player there and wherever he ends up in the NHL either with us or somebody else. Hopefully this changes a few people’s minds about getting a 7th pick!
