We’re a steady stream, flowing out of the gates of the hell hole. Whatever our feelings towards eachother for most of the rest of week, last thing on Friday, everyone is slightly happier. All around me are people planning their weekend, someone is going to a party, someone else is seeing their nan, a girl in my maths class is visiting her girlfriend and a boy to my left is getting a new puppy. The rain doesn’t bother us that much as we seperate towards buses and bikes, the unlucky walkers shouldering their bags and getting on with it. I unwrap the sweet given to me in my last lesson and let the weird fruit flavour melt on my tongue, allowing myself this hour before I start to consider my hoemowrk. The leaves around are falling and you can smell it in the air, the coming of autumn, the beginning of term. Nothing is that bad, yet.
