P: What about 'love at first sight'? Why or why not?
nope. i don't believe such a thing exists. it's more like 'attraction at first sight' - that i believe in. because i basically experience this whenever i'm out of the house, on public transport, in class. you can see a person and think, wow, s/he's cute, and then you hear them speak or watch them do things, and you're just amazed. but that's not love. love is when you actually get to know to this person, if you spend time together and you fall in love with his/her character. attraction can of course lead to love. love at first sight is just a romantic product, a myth i think. although i consider myself a romantic i find this kind of thing a little silly - but whoever wants to believe in it, if they feel better with that, then they should believe in it.
S: What do you consider a deal breaker?
most likely cheating. i think this is the worst thing you can do in a relationship. well, it could be worse if the cheater is quiet about it. but i'd feel betrayed in both cases and really, if my significant other doesn't care enough about me to be faithful, what am i doing in this relationship? relationships built on trust, and with that my trust in the person would be over. i probably can forgive after a while but i'd never go back to that person. i have no guarantee that he'd do it all over again.
Z: Do you believe love can conquer all things?
that's a really romantic idea. i'd love to believe in it. but yeah. i don't speak from experience because i haven't been in a relationship before, but i believe that people can be toxic to each other. if you love a person that is toxic for you, you should run. even if you care about this person very much, they don't do you any good. you can't heal them magically with love. and if you're toxic yourself but you love someone, you shouldn't force yourself on them. even if they love you back, maybe they don't know yet how bad you are for them. so that's the thing. of course love can conquer many other things. not only romantic love but also family love and friends love can get you through bad times if you're feeling down, or have stress, things like that. love can also be a catalysator to do good things. so my answer is: yes, but conditionally.
4: What do you notice first about another person?
eyes. i'm all about the eyes, really. i just find them so fascinating. and i get really poetic about them when i'm thinking about another person's eyes. you can see emotions, also some people have just beautiful eyes. i don't really care about colour in that sense, but i like the idea that people have a certain eye colour for a reason. even if that's just a stupid romantic thought lmao. but - i find eyes beautiful, and i allow myself to be shallow about that. and after eyes it's probably hair or hands. oh my god i love hands. hands tell stories. piano hands or guitar hands or a worker's hands. damn, i need to write something.
