Legs shakes his head, running a hand over his hair. He drops the note haphazardly onto the table, ignoring the shaking in his hands, the tightness in his chest.

“What are you doing?” A voice comes from behind him, low and gravely. Legs breathes out a swear as he turns around, coming face to face with Owen.

“I didn’t-“ Legs voice comes out panicked, he takes a deep breath and tries again. “I didn’t know what they were.”

“Well what is it, Rody? I’m sick of giving you my all just for you to give nothing in return.” Vince grabs Rody’s face, his nails dig into the flesh of his cheeks. It’s too hard, it hurts. It’ll break skin if he doesn’t move.

“It's not that!” Rody exclaims, trying to back himself even further against the wall. It doesn’t work, Vince’s hold is too tight. “You just- you don’t get it.”

"What don’t I get, Lamoree?”

“Just.. I’ll show you, is that okay? Just can we do it in the bedroom, like an actual couple? Not against the wall like I’m someone you found at the bar?”
