closed starter for lily evans  [ @numxinsight​​ ] !

his glasses are slightly askew on his face, not that he can stop to fix it with how the frames have gotten bent. it's annoying, to say the least, but was leagues better than being unable to see at all. it doesn't make navigating the sidewalk especially easy, but he's yet to actually run into anyone. "excuse me," harry mutters to the redheaded woman as he passes by before stopping dead in his tracks and turning back to look at her again. "sorry, but - do i know you?" he feels as if he's seen her somewhere - an old photograph, maybe a newspaper?

Nighttime had fallen and Casey decided to hit up the natural swimming pool at the very center of the island. Stars freckled the sky, and sweat dripped down his cheeks as he approached, tugging his shirt over his head. The water was nice and cool as he sunk into it and began to simply backfloat, getting lost in the silence that the water around his ears provided.

His peace was disturbed, for a moment, the flicker of a shadow at the corner of his vision. Casey scrambled upright, a soft cry escaping his throat. ....Oh. It was only a person at the edge of the pool, too. “Not to be dramatic, but you totally scared like, the whole soul outta my body, man.”
