-> Quick rundown: Ev (they/she, ~14yo) is an immortal whumpee who gets used as her older sister's science project basically. They're a part of a story I'm not really focusing on rn but are sort of my favorite so they get a place to put together all their stuff now.

ev's older sister. we know that alr

has been raising her for like almost a decade now? if you ask me i'm not sure what happened with their parents. eliah just kind of took it upon herself. "i can do it better than you both" sort of mentality. she sort of fucked the kid up but eh

now that i think about it i don't think eliah likes their parents at all. why i have no idea. will have to find it out later.

she is a proeminent name in the field of magic research! ☝ she often is invited to give special lectures in universities despite her busy schedule as a ceo because of her um. innovative approach to magic energy.

she is a little insane about it actually. she is a little too much into this magic research thing. she doesn't really mind using unethical methods to feed it. there's this girl with a power ('link' as they call it in the setting) that can store other links for later use and it makes eliah's eyes shine. the story's main plot is sort of snowballing from eliah wanting to capture her and a few other interesting specimen

she can act pretty charismatic! she has a big smile that makes you feel safe, perfect manners and genuinely looks like a good person. evangeline certainly buys it, for one. it's way too easy to forget who you're talking to (if you have any idea, of course) and just let your guard around her

i think her own link is like telekynesis? i'm not exactly sure

most people call her Ms. Nuray and ev calls her "Eli" when they want to appeal to her gentle side. it's a little childish. mostly when they're trying to conjure up the image of the loving older sister they keep convicing themself eliah is in their mind

eliah isssss in her thirties though i'm not sure of her exact age

she is a ceo in her own right though i'm not sure either of what her company does - i do know that this isn't everything. said company belongs to a much (sort of secret) wider web of organizations all around the country and a bit beyond, all bundled up under the name of "NAIPE". she's the leader of them all

as evangeline can also tell you because she collects way too many facts about their sister: she likes gray outfits better than black or white, she also prefers suits over dresses, she doesn't like it when her hair has a strong fragrance so she uses odorless shampoo and she prefers spicey food over bland. she's not a fan of sweets, but can appreciate them. plus she's, well, a very busy person

she also has sort of two living weapons under her. one, her protegee whom she's given her surname too, Nosac (more of a willing case. he's weird.), and the other, a kid her people took in like a decade ago because they saw potential in them. but she's not as closely associated with them because they're more of a responsability of someone else - their trainer, whom they call their master - but they do answer to her. this last one is Dimitri. Dimitri is really scared of her because he's not exactly used to being in her vincity. Nosac is not as much because he works closely with her more often

her hair is brown like ev's, if a little lighter. i'm not sure about the color of her eyes.

12: What's something you want to ask the other? Answer each others questions if you can.

Espa seems a bit uncomfortable. Its eyes dart around, not laying near its handler.

"Nothing in particular," they say, at last. Posture stiff, as always. Its words are clear, but there's a shyness behind them. Ann stares at her, seeming midly annoyed. Espa, skillfuly, hides a flinch. "It's not my business."

The woman shrugs. "Me neither. She knows to answer whenever I ask. Besides, there isn't anything really noteworthy going on in that head, so." Ann doesn't actually believe that, but she doesn't give it much thought. Espa doesn't refute it, either.

13. Name one of the other persons favourite things.

"Sweets," says the weapon. After a pause, they complete, "Books, too." Ann glares at it, as if it was some sort of well-guarded secret. Espa still doesn't look at her. "But mostly sweets. Chocolate and candies."

Ann clenches her jaw, but doesn't reply. She looks...mildly sleepy today, actually.

"Hell if I know," she represses a yawn, as if being here is the last thing in her list of wishes. "That cape of hers, probably."

At that, almost imperceptively, its fingers clench onto the yellow fabric. As if they are mildly scared of letting go.

Ann scoffs. "Incompetence."

Espa gives her a subtle sideways glance. They slightly open their mouth, but then seem to think better.

"There's no use in annoying Miss Ann," it dodges. "But you would do good avoiding being late. Taking too much of her time." The handler has her arms crossed. With the last amount of subtlety, she brushes her arms as she gives a nod.

After another second, you think the weapon is about to add something else, but they decide against it.

Ev sways her feet over the ground. They don't look like they want to answer. Eliah Nuray raises an eyebrow at her.

"If I," they cave, defeated, biting the inside of their mouth. "If I'm good, can I have a free month? Without dying? Or a week?" Her voice is small. "For like, a break?" They look up expectantly at their sister. They turn unexpectedly skittish at her presence.

Nuray makes a dismissing gesture. "You're already good, Ev," their face seems to relax at the praise, "but you know I can't give you that. Your responsabilities are too important. Maybe sometime else."

Bedrudgingly, Evangeline nods. She deflates, but she doesn't look like she'd expected another answer.

"Oh, me?" Nuray scratches her chin. She turns to her sibling. "Ev," calls the woman, "there's something I just can't understand." Evangeline seems to slightly tense up on her seat. "You were just back from another episode. Why do you do that?" The woman sounds frustrated. Annoyed. "It's like you have no consideration for what I do for you." The kid is incredibly still in her position. "I know you don't like it, but next time you put it up, I'm afraid I'll have to put you in the Chamber."

Ev visibly flinches at that. She looks up at Nuray, her eyes wide. She is biting on her lip.

"I'm sorry," they sound like they mean it. "I don't know why. I'll stop."

Nuray looks away with a sigh. They both know this will probably become a lie.

"The Syringue," Nuray answers, without missing a beat. Ev seems to flush, playing with a lock of their bangs. They don't deny it. "And gemstones. They can talk about them all day." Something that looks like a smile — or a chuckle? — graces her lips. "I'm thinking of giving her an encyclopedia as a reward sometime."

Ev visibly perks up at that.

"Really?"

"Answer yours," the sister dodges. They bite their lip, thinking, before giving their answer:

"Iced tea by the mornings, or her gray suit. The black one is too gloomy. The white is too tacky, she says. And early autumn. Eli likes the weather," she lists. "The beach, too, though not actually entering in the sea." Ev looks at Nuray. "She prefers staying by the shadow."

Ev chews on the inside of their mouth.

"When I—when I am difficult," you see her sinking her nails into her arms. You don't think she's noticed it. "...And when business isn't going well," they add, a something heavy dawning over their voice. You aren't sure of how the state of Nuray's business affects her at all.

Evangeline glances up nervously at her sister. They don't actually meet her face.

Evangeline tenses up. They try to hide it, but their breathing picks up.

"...I -"

"I don't think there's anything," Nuray answers before her sister can get to it. She turns to them. "You, Ev?"

She bited the inside of the lip. The girl just shakes her head.

11: What are some little habits and/or body language notes you noticed about the other?

This time, Evangeline waits for their sister to answer first. She doesn't, tilting her head at them.

They look less nervous on this one.

"...Whenever Eli is tired, her voice gets harsher," she starts. "She gets more restless and sits on chairs just to get up again. She ties her hair when she's concentrated, too," Eliah stares at her, as if she hadn't noticed it herself. "But she doesn't always have a hairband on, so she just picks it up and drops it loose again. She crosses her legs when she's annoyed at some guys, too. She goes to adjusts their suits when she wants to be..." they wet their mouth, trying to work around a word they don't want to use. Ev glances up at Eliah. "...Condescending."

The woman blinks. She tries to come up with her answer. "They sway their feet when they don't want to look at you."

21. Do you think the other is strong?

Evangeline perks up.

"Yes," they answer, not giving it a second thought. "The strongest person I know."

Eliah gives her a smile. She crosses her arms and looks back at you.

"They're still only a child," is all she says, with a shrug. "But Ev can take a lot. She know how to make me proud."

Evangeline blushes at that. She looks down at her lap, playing with her bangs.
