Honesty as fun as the race and the post-race excitement is, my favorite time of the week is right before the weekend itself. Watching the drivers assemble like the Avengers, posting pictures from the same hotel, cycling on the same track in the afternoons - all just so interesting and adorable to witness. Pierre and Daniil acting like bros the second they’re in the same room, Charles and Seb doing the hourglass challenges or posing for group photo shoots, Lando and Carlos finally merging their 2 brain cells after two weeks apart, all the teams reuniting or training or traveling with their racer friends (looking at you Daniel and Max). The excitement of preparing for a race, the hope felt by every team, the desire to succeed felt by every driver. I love it.
