When can we expect Nurie and Nathan to get married? First baby?

I clearly have too much time on my hands because I decided to attempt to predict when Nurthan will be blessing us with their wedding and when/how many baby RodKellers we can expect.

DISCLAIMER: I am not @duggardata so my maths may be a tad funky. Quite a few of the dates are purely approximates because Jill has not published exact courtship, engagement or birth dates. In these examples I have chosen the approx mid point of each month (15th) she has given for the date of these events. I have taken these dates from the fundie wiki. I have entirely based these predictions on Jill’s timeline as Nurie is the first of the Rodriguiii to enter a public courtship. This means the data is extremely dodgy and should be taken with 17lbs of salt. Despite this I hope this quenches your thirst.

COURTSHIP:

As a base for my predictions I needed a courtship start date. Here Jill states that ‘About 3 weeks ago’ Nathan gave Nurie a necklace to symbolise the start of their courtship. This was posted on the 3rd July 2019 which gives us an approximate courtship date of the 12th June 2019. Nurie was 20 years, 1 month and 25 days old. 

Jill met David with the ‘intent of courtship’ in January 1997, I’m approximating a courtship date of 15th January 1997. Jill was 18 years, 2 months and 13 days old. 

ENGAGEMENT:

Jill and David were engaged in May 1997, roughly 121 days after courtship had begun. If Nurthan follow exactly then Nathan will pop the question on the 11th October 2019. Nurie will be 20 years, 5 months and 23 days old, Jill was 18 years, 6 months and 13 days old at the time of engagement.

MARRIAGE:

Jill and David married 143 days after engagement on Saturday 4th October 1997. 143 days after the estimated Nurthan proposal gives us Monday 2nd March 2020, but who gets married on a Monday? Shifting the wedding day to the following Saturday gives us Saturday 7th March 2020. Nurie will be 20 years, 10 months and 18 years old. Her mother was 18 years, 11 months and 2 days old.

The Saturday before is closer to the predicted date but this is the 29th of February and I’m not sure they would pick a leap day to get married. 

FIRST BABY:

Jill’s first baby was born on the 19th April 1999, 562 days after she said ‘I do’. If Nurie follows exactly the first RodKeller baby will bless us with its presence on 21st September 2021. Jill was 20 years, 5 months and 17 days old when she had Nurie and Nurie will be 22 years, 5 months and 3 days old when she has RodKeller #1.

(I personally believe Nurie will probably have her first child before this. Jill’s pregnancy with Nurie was her second pregnancy, her first ended in a miscarriage.)

APPROX SIZE OF QUIVER:

If you thought my approximate/wonky data was bad up till this point boy you are in for a wild ride. Not only do we not have the exact birthdays of 5 of Jill’s children but Jill also has some of the most inconsistent spacing of any fundie I’ve ever seen. Jill has had two sets of Irish Twins (330 days between Nurie and Timothy and 345 days between Kaylee and Renee) and two spacings over 1000 days (1192 days between Hannah and Olivia and 1002 days between Sofia and Janessa). 

Now that we’ve acknowledged how funky this data is here we go. Jill had her last baby on 11/4/2018 meaning she was fertile until she was 39 years, 5 months and 9 days old (unless she has another baby). Whilst married Jill had 7494 fertile days. Nurie will be this age on 26th September 2038 and if she gets married on 7th March 2020 she will have 6778 fertile days whilst married.

The mean of Jill’s spacing is roughly one baby every 577 days. If Nurie follows this pace we can expect a quiver of 11-12 children.

THE TAKEAWAY:

Engagement: 11th October 2019

Marriage: 7th March 2020

First Baby: 20th September 2021

Approx Size of Quiver: 11-12

Had a dream last night about Nurthan’s wedding and there was a TV crew. Nurie looked at the camera and said that they had to go because it was time for the ‘night grabbing’. Laughed so hard that I woke myself up.
