I'm really curious to see who all from fundieland goes to this wedding. The Wissmanns and Duggars alone are a huge crew, plus I wonder who is willing to go to a Duggar wedding post-Trial.
The Bates will be really interesting. I think Esther will go as she had a galentines with joy, abbie and ofJed! (I literally donât know her name and all that will stick is ofJed!) but obviously Nathan in is Ukraine. Lawson and Tiff are probably a hard pass but Tiff loves to fundie network. Lawson, Nathan and Carlin (heavily pregnant/will have a newborn) were always the ones sent out as Bates representatives so with 2/3 off duty and Lawson trying really hard to protect his âimageâ itâs quite tricky to guess.
Iâm rewatching sister wives because why not? I canât believe Christine didnât leave Kody season one! He started dating Robyn while she had a miscarriage and her last baby. He kisses Robyn (even though theyâre not married) while sheâs in labor and then asks her doctor about IVF for Meri while sheâs getting induced.
No sorry if I wasnât clear! According to the show, Christine had a miscarriage and then shortly after got pregnant with Truely. During her labor with Truely Kody kissed Robyn (who he wasnât married to at the time) even though Christine made it clear she didnât agree with kissing before marriage in plural relationships. And also during that labor, Kody asked the doctor about IVF for Meri.
I just watched the latest sister wives episode and Iâve decided I feel very very sad for Ysobel. Like I just know that if I was having life altering surgery, covid or not, thereâs no chance in hell my father would miss it. If he wouldnât fly because of the pandemic he wouldâve driven the 13 or however many hours to be there. Like if Kody had wanted to, he couldâve done that, but he doesnât care enough to. I just wish she had a father that wouldâve cared enough to be there when she most needed him because everyone deserves that. At least Hunter and Aspyn were there, and she has a mom who clearly would do anything for her (Go Christine! I loved her handling of this)
Yea this season has made me really understand Christine's decision to leave, Kody is infuriating about the COVID shit. I completely get that he's trying to be safe but it's complete overkill, he could've followed his own rules and quarantined after at least being there for Ysabel while she was having the surgery (they stayed for 6 weeks and I know that's a big commitment when he has small kids at home but he couldâve given her a week or two). For what it's worth he said he completely regretted that decision and acknowledges now that it was wrong I guess.
What made me absolutely lose my SHIT in the newest episode (I yelled WHAT at the tv loud enough for Mr. SC to run in) is that he has been having a NANNY COMES TO ROBYN'S HOUSE THIS WHOLE FUCKING TIME. He's been giving every wife, including Meri (who's BY HERSELF ALL OF THE TIME AND following his rules) shit about not being strict enough with their COVID rules meanwhile he has a STRANGER coming in multiple times a week I........when Christine looked at the camera and said "What. Does the nanny. Do????" I have never felt more solidarity with her lol.
Idk at the beginning of COVID I was kind of on Kody's side because they have small kids who have had health troubles before, and I think he was really acting out of complete fear but now I'm on the wives side. Robyn is bending to his every whim because he's over there a lot, but the wives are right, to follow his rules and have him be there sometimes basically means sacrificing the rest of life to have him there 2 nights a week and it's not worth it. Especially when they have grown children who have lives of their own.
I could rant forever jfc that made me so heated lol.

As horrible as it sounds sometimes I wish Kody would just divorce Meri. I know he legally did but he just needs to tell her to go away. I think she could be so happy if she wasnât in their non marriage marriage but Meri doesnât seem like sheâs going to ever leave on her own.
I wholeheartedly believe that if Meri hadnât of been catfished she wouldâve left by now. I really do think Robyn would leave if Kody found someone else (or the new wife wouldnât last long because Robyn would be awful) but Janelle? Janelle is ride or die, till the end, will never leave. The lifestyle suits her and Kody seems to genuinely enjoy his time with her (more than any of the others).Â
I do feel for Meri, I bet that their religious community are pretty awful about her behind her back. She was catfished by a woman, she only has one child (who is gay- massively against their teachings), she lost her first wife golden ticket of a legal marriage and her husband and his other wives publicly dislike her.

Exactly. Again, all of my opinions are based on tv and could be totally wrong, but esp with a very modern polygamist family like the Browns I don't think they would've lasted this long if there was the blatant favoritism most people think that there is. My understanding of polygamy is that it's identical to polyamory in the sense that it only works if you have different but equal emotional investments in all of the relationships. I think most people ignore that because it looks (and is in a way) misogynistic at face value.
Also honestly............Robyn seems like she sucks tbh. She seems very negative and melodramatic to me and like a person I wouldn't want to spend much time around (I'm very much a âJanelleâ lol). So I don't see how a 20 or 30 pound weight difference would make up for that but then again that's just me, and Kody is annoying too so đ€·ââïž
the robyn/kody marriage was kodyâs midlife crisis marriage. i think he wouldve loved for her to have way more kids than she has done because it wouldve made him look better. i think he pays more attention to robyn as shes been there the shortest amount of time and has never fit in. the other three may hate each other but they know how to work with/against each other. i think meri is the true love match for kody but she got pushed to the back when the other two had more and more kids.

Today at 3:00 PM E.T., Jill Rodrigues announced via Facebook Live that 2ndâEldest Daughter, Kaylee , 20, is âofficially courtingâ a man named Jonathan Hill. Per the video, theyâve been âgetting to knowâ one another since âthis past spring.â
According to Kaylee, Jonathanâs Family is extremely similar to her⊠Both families have 13 Childrenâ9 Boys + 4 Girls for the Hills, and 9 Girls + 4 Boys for the Rodriguii. Kaylee also states that âall of [their] beliefs line up with our beliefs.â
After a bit of sleuthing on Jillâs Facebook, Duggar Data came across this Post, mentioning a âPastor Hill.â Immediately after, Jill said that the Rodrigues Family had just enjoyed a visit to a Mississippi church called Faith Baptist Church. Thinking these are probably connected, Duggar Data found Faith Baptistâs website, and confirmed that their pastor is a âPastor Hill"âspecifically, Pastor Robert Hill, Jr. Also, the webpage conveniently provides information about the Hill Family. It turns out, Pastor Hill has a son, Robert Hill III, who has 13 Children (9 Boys + 4 Girls) with his wife, Sarah⊠Duggar Data is pretty sure that Robert Hill III + Sarah are Jonathanâs parents.

Honestly it's weirder to me when teenagers/adult kids don't have any different political ideas than their parents.....it gives off very anti-free thinking vibes. I feel having identical opinions to anyone, especially your parents, is grounds for evaluating why you believe what you believe.

I personally think it'd be most on brand for Erin to choose a Miracle-themed name. I got the impression they were really preparing to be done with having kids so if I were a bettin man that's the way I'd go.
If the baby is a boy I wouldn't be surprised if they used some form of Will because this pregnancy was the will of the Lord. I don't know, there doesn't seem to be lot virtue names to fall back on for boys. No equivalent for Grace, Faith ect.
There might not be any virtue boy names but there are several boy names that mean miracle so I'm wondering if they may go down that route. We might get something like Asher (meaning blessing) or Matthew (Gift from the lord).

Not all adoptive parents are good people. Whitney decided to cut them out of her life for a reason and it may not have anything to do with Kelly. Iâm not saying they were bad people, but I know so many brides who were given away by their shitty fathers that we canât judge whether or not they were good people just because they seemed nice enough. Thereâs clearly a lot of pain and history and itâs not up to us to judge whether or not the estrangement is justified. Thatâs just my opinion.
Yeah I donât necessarily believe her adoptive parents were good people. Unfortunately child neglect and abuse are common even among adoptive or foster families. Iâm not saying that either Whitneyâs adoptive or bio family were neglectful or abusive but it happens.
I would never say what is the right thing for Whitney to do. Especially as a stranger seeing her life in an edited tv show and social media! But I do think the Bates family would tell her what to do because they have strong convictions derived from their interpretation of the Christian Bible.
I mostly think itâs interesting that she went from no contact with her bio family to then no contact with her adoptive family. It usually takes a lot for a person to go no contact with people who raise them.
Her âadoptionâ has almost every red flag imaginable. 1. very religious, 2. kept her original last name, 3. âtaken inâ as a teenager with no proof of a legal arrangement and 4. they frequently mentioned that Whitney was âfriendsâ with their dead bio daughter... Except Whitney herself never said she was and the bio-daughter was significantly older than Whitney. It always sounded like Whitney was a replacement child.
