Nursery Rhymes Rewritten 4
Hickory Dickory Dock
Thirty three bullets in the magazine of the glock
He waits around until the clock
Hits the time of his massacre plot
Doors open and people flock
Into the hallways they do dock
Not knowing their lives will rot
And that their existence just might not
Be an existence anymore
Birds of a feather flock together
And so will pigs and swine
Rats and mice will have their choice
And so will I have mine
Bullets ring out and they scatter like a bunch of rine
When police come out and give them fines
Disaster has struck
For those perfect ones
And the ruler is an outfit
But with his gun he has equalized
And everyone is utterly surprised
At the outcome of their demise
A wise old owl lived in an oak The more he saw the less he spoke The less he spoke the more he heard.
This old owl was a misfit bird
Maybe things would have ended differently
If someone would’ve been his friend
If someone would’ve bothered to care
Then maybe he would not have dared
To buy a gun and load it up
Take the lives of the pig and swine
If just one rat or just one mice
Would have treated this outfit sorta nice
The outcome of the day could have changed
No lives lost
No massacre
No horrific end
Maybe even a new beginning
But now we will never know
The what ifs that the mind construe
Now all there is is misery
And sadness at its highest peak
