I paired Uncle Ben's Basmati Medley Savory Herb with a T-bone steak. It was very hard. The rice cooked very well. It wasn't hard or mushy.

One of the things that was in my #nurturevobox that I wasn't able to try was the Non-Drowsy Dramamine. So I got one of my Facebook friends to test it out for me. She gets terrible motion sickness. So I met her and gave them to her before she went on her trip. She forgot to take it but by the time she remembered she was already sick so she took one anyway and she said they helped. A lot! They didn't make her sleepy either. I know it says Non-Drowsy but I wanted to make that clear! Both of my sisters say they take this when they have a stomach virus and it works for that too. One of those sisters is in the Navy and when she gets deployed she takes that to help with the sea sickness. So this product can help with many things!

I was chosen by #influenster to receive the #nurturevoxbox inside there were lots of goodies for me to test! They had a Hada Labo Tokyo Ultimate Anti-Aging Facial Mask. It works. All my fine lines disappeared! The package says to use it 2-3 days a week. I went the maximum amount of time which was 15 mins. The next thing is Uncle Ben's flavored rice grains. I haven't tested this out yet. Next was Blue Lizard Austrailian Sunscreen Sensitive. The lid is clear but turns blue when exposed to UV rays, which is really cool! Youre suppose to put it on 30 mins before you go out into the sun. It worked really well. We go swimming for at least 2 hours. No one got sunburned! Its also dermatologist recommended! If you go to their website or find them on facebook there is a coupon code to get 10% off your purchase. I also received a sample of the Sport. I haven't tried that one yet. Next was Non-Drowsy Dramamine. I don't get motion sick so I had a friend try it out for me. She said it worked so good! I will give more details on my blog about that. Red Vines was another goody included in my box. I haven't tried these out yet either! I'm really ready too! Next was the Ore-Ida Crispy Easy Tater Tots. These are microwavable. They came out crispy which was really awesome! They tasted really good too! The final thing I received was ATTITUDE Hair Care. Now this is a body wash and shampoo. My skin was really soft after my shower but my hair was dry, flat, and limp afterward. I really liked the body wash though! That was it for my #nurturevoxbox! Thanks #influenster!

A few weeks ago I received my first Voxbox from Influenster! I was so excited to be chosen to review these products. I really liked that the shampoo was a full size bottle so I could see how it really worked. The bottle of Dramamine was great too because I get so car sick, and the sunscreen because as a redhead I burn easily! Over the next few days I’ll be posting what I thought about some of these items.

A couple weeks ago I received the Nurture Vox Box in the mail!  This was my first box from Influenster so I didn’t know exactly what to expect from it.  In all I love this idea to review products while receiving full size portions for free. Inside the box included multiple items. many of them I have already used and others I haven’t had the opportunity to do so yet. But I’m sure I’ll enjoy those items as much as the items I’ve already tried.

I have really been enjoying the Attitude for Littles shampoo.  I’ve used it on my two kiddo’s and love it.  My daughter’s hair is difficult to bush and she hates tangles, but this seemed to help all the tangles and snags. I’ve used it for myself and it feels like it helps to clear all the build up in my hair. I’m actually excited about this shampoo and will probably buy it when we run out.

The Diaper Cream has been great on my son’s diaper rash. He usually doesn’t get a diaper rash but with the summer heat he’s been getting more. This SkinFix Diaper Rash Cream has been clearing it up on the first application.

The Red Vines were gone within a couple hours of receiving the box so I’m pretty sure my entire family enjoyed them! ;)

Hada Labo Tokio facial mask was interesting. After I removed the mask I could feel the serum still working and tingling my face.  I’m usually not one to do masks however it did intrigue me. 

I haven’t been able to use the Dramamine Non-drowsey as we haven’t really gone on any road trips or had to use it. But, I have used Dramamine regular before and have liked it. Both myself and my husband get car sick so I’m sure it’s a matter of time before we give it a try.

The Blue Lizard SunScreen I’m really looking forward to using it when we spend some time outside. Living in So Cal we are bound to need it and soon. 

The coupons are great as well. I received an Uncle Ben’s rice coupon and it has been great to have something new as a side dish to my meals! Instead of plain brown rice I have wild rice with herbs in it. It makes it an easy and convenient side to my meals. much needed for this on the go mom.

Love my first VOXBOX!

Got my FIRST Voxbox, the Nurture box... LOVE it! I can’t believe that they really send you FULL-SIZE samples FREE for review... even frozen grocery items! Love the Uncle Ben’s, The Hada Labo anti-aging facemask, Ore Ida Fries, Attitude Detangler, Skinfix diaper balm, and Blue Lizard sunscreen. I think the mask was my favorite... it scared my kids...lol

Non-drowsy Dramamine

So, I had a chance to try Non-drowsy Naturals with Natural Ginger Dramamine complimentary Influenster. I do not experience motion sickness, but I know a couple of people who do. I am going to make sure to keep it available for when the opportunity arises so that I can update on how well it works.
