i’m simultaneously my biggest fan and also my biggest hater (chuck da deuces up)

i always have to have my nails painted, i feel naked without nail polish!

QUESTIONS

1.) What celebrity do you want to meet more than anything?

Lawrence Ferlinghetti. As much as I love the actors and authors and directors of the stuff I watch and read now, nothing else has had as big of an impact on me as A Coney Island of the Mind.

2.) What song have you been playing on repeat recently?

3.) What ship do you just not understand?

Wincest. Really, anything with family ties goes in the 'no thank you' pile.

4.) What shows did you pick up this season?

I picked up Supernatural and Community in the break, so I think that counts. Nothing actually new new.

5.) What’s your sibling situation? (Have any? Older/younger?)

One younger sister. She currently sending me normal texts broken up by occasion meowing to show me how studying is sending her crazy. I think that about sums up our relationship.

6.) If you could only watch TV or movies for the rest of your life, what would you choose?

OH GOD WHY WOULD YOU ASK A QUESTION LIKE THIS??

I love spending a long time with characters. I love long seasonal arcs.

But there are so many good movies out there SO MANY THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN.

BUT BUFFY. BUT CITIZEN KANE.

I'm halfway through Supernatural at the moment though, so I have to say TV at least til I'm done with that.

7.) Who was your favorite Spice Girl?

Sporty Spice. I was an athletic kid with brown hair. It was only natural.

8.) If you could have a one-night-side with any celebrity, who would it be?

Benedict Cumberbatch. We'd stay fully clothed and hang out all night and just respect the fuck out of each other.

9.) Do you have a go-to karaoke song? What is it?

Ramblin' Man. The Allman Brothers. My own personal voice quirks are most at home in Country music.

10.) What’s a movie that people can’t believe you’ve never seen?

Kill Bill. Any of the Bonds except the latest one. There was also a mad panic when it was realised I hadn't seen any of the Star Wars. That was a movie marathon that dreams are made of....terrifying terrifying dreams.

11.) How was your day?

Kinda meh? I'm doing work that I find kinda boring but it's going quickly. I can't go to my Stitch n Bitch tonight, but that means I have time to watch Community and Supernatural. I need to cook dinner but we're making pizza. So there are clouds but there are also silver linings, thanks for asking!

Our house was on 40 GB for a while, but I used up all the net. Now we’re on about a 100 I think, or maybe 120 so its sweet. But I think my streaming shows has decreased a lot this year.

I start a full time job next week, so I'm thinking once thath appnes it'll get better seeing as I wont be lulling around the apartment on Tumblr all day long. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's interesting that you guys do GB packages here. In the States we do it on how fast/good the WiFi is.

That is upsetting and you have every right to miss her and feel a little scared. But it seems like you’re already making friends and once you’re settled I’m sure you’re going to find a group of people that you like.

I really hope that's the case. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Aaaahhh thank you!! I'm waiting for my friend to get back to me, since she hasn't fully decided yet, but it's sounding like I might be down in Wellington and apartment/job hunting by Sunday at the latest. I'll keep you posted!

Yeah, I caught the first week or two of John hosting and I thought he was doing such a stellar job. I'm kind of bummed I missed so many of his hosting episodes. But at the same time, I've missed Jon so much. I adore that man beyond all rhyme and reason.

Flight to NZ?! Exciting! Only a 14 or so hour trip and you guys are here! A day ahead too, since its Monday here already.

Yup! Just an hour and forty-five minute wait, and then a twelve hour flight to NZ! And yeah, I know we're jumping ahead a day, which makes my 365 photo blog a bit challenging. :P
