I grew up with it being "Nutella", but when we moved to Norway from Germany it became "Nugatti". Now I haven't tasted Nutella in a looong time, but I reckon they taste pretty similar. I usually eat "Nugatti" only on white bread with peanut butter. But now that you have mentioned Nutella and butter I am definitely making a sandwich. Or a cracker. Or both. I forgot about the tastiness of it. I also wonder, do you ever eat jam with butter? Love your writing btw!!<3<3

yess I always have butter with my jam on sandwiches, toast, muffins, pikelets, etc. You can’t have jam without butter. unless it’s with cream and scones in which case carry on.

Aaaaaand now we have the Nutella discussion. #foreshadowing What does butter benefit to Nutella and bread? You don't need the oils from butter since Nutella is made of nuts which already have oils, so what is it for? And that's the other thing. Do people eat Nutella sandwiched between two pieces of bread? I like peanut butter and Nutella but I've never had just a plain Nutella sandwich.

try a plain nutella sandwich and then try a nutella and butter sandwich and get back to me. I don’t know what the butter adds but I enjoy it anyway

I live in the Middle East and we have Nutella on bread and pancakes with sprinkles, that's literally the only topping I have it with, any other topping just baffles me. Also the reason I pronounce Nutella Noot-Ella (I usually don't pronounce things with their correct pronunciation Cuz I don't give dipshits) but my mother didn't know English that well when she gave birth to me (hah now she's an English teacher) so she always assumed it was that. How ironic.

Try nutella with banana, especially on pancakes and crepes!! so yummy
