I'm hesitant to label myself ace even though there isn't really a group that I can identify better with, and I don't know why. I've read a lot of your other asks and they're so informative and helpful I was wondering if you could advise me on this?

If you feel like you identify with asexual than go for it! Welcome to the community :) But if you don’t feel like it’s the right label that’s okay too. You don’t have to. Choosing a label is only important if you want one. It can help bring a sense of community and relief for a lot of people. But if labeling yourself doesn’t bring those things for you then you don’t have to. Only you can decide whether identifying yourself as asexual is right for you.
