Not only are these homemade Nutter Butters vegan and gluten-free, they also taste just like the original treat. They are great for satisfying your sweet tooth while also following a special diet.
Ingredients: 1 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/2 cup maple syrup. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups oat flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Put peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix them together until the mixture is smooth. Mix in the oat flour, baking soda, and salt with the peanut butter until everything is well mixed in. Make little balls out of the dough and use a fork to make a crisscross pattern in them. For 10 to 12 minutes, or until just beginning to turn golden brown. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. You can melt the vegan chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler if you want to. Then, drizzle them over the cookies after they are cool. Wait until the chocolate is set to serve it. Have fun with your vegan, gluten-free, and home-made nut butters!
