no more sad songs / renee + jon

Renee couldn’t help but still feel angry at everything that happened between Cathy and Jon and how she reacted. There were no feelings towards him other adoration and worriness. Deep down, Renee still cared for him. Despite everything that happened and everything they told each other out of spite.... She still cared. Renee waited anxiously for Jon to arrive and while Blue slept next to her, she wondered what she actually wanted to tell him. Tonight all of their fights would come to an end. Renee was tired of arguing about the same old things. Both deserved better than this. As soon as she heard the doorbell, the Canadian stood up and zipped her jumper. She lazily opened the door and invited Jon inside, nodding for him to come in. “Hi. I hope New York was warmer than Vegas tonight...”, she couldn’t help throw a jab at his trip but it was stronger than Renee’s will. However, she regretted almost immediately. “I’m sorry. Let’s go to the living room. I got some tea for you if you want to”
