NWFC Update 5 - 1 day till shutdown

NWFC Update 4 - 2 days till shutdown (+Wiimmfi update)

Shutdown is scheduled "May 20th" but we don't know exactly when. It could be midnight 19th-20th, midnight 20th-21st, or any time during the day. Further, it's unclear if it would be local time or JST, so the worst must be prepared for.

As of this posting, it is 2pm the 19th in Japan (1am 19th EST). Wiimmfi will continue to accept game registrations until the network goes down, regardless of when that happens. The timer that recently ran out on their website was for a guarantee of your game profile having enough time to be saved to their server (assuming you did everything on your end right), since it takes up to 24 hours and at this point we no longer know how much time we have left. You can still attempt to register your FCs.

If it says retrieved that means you're in. Otherwise a - will appear, that means you're still pending with a small chance of it not going through. If this concerns you, make sure you enter wifi with as many people as possible, preferably others who have registered in Wiimmfi. Your profile is downloaded into their database through nintendo's network from others who have added you and is not dependent on your own connectivity. So the more people you contact and the more people they contact, the better.

To use Wiimmfi's network, you need to manually input their DNS server ( 176.9.146.163 ) in your WFC settings.

This registration project is to preserve existing profiles on the new network. Games that have never connected to NWFC (new files or otherwise) can register with Wiimmfi at a later date by creating a new profile.

Pokenerds are working on a homebrew wifi network for all DS/Wii games. 20 hours left at the time of this posting to register your games for the network or you will not be able to join later.

NWFC Update 2 - 8 days till shutdown

There are 8 days left but trying to use the NWFC tells me no access point????

Nothing about my location or devices has changed since the last time it worked. I've never had a problem with it before, is it just me? I can still use local wifi and stuff.
