After reincarnation

Have you ever feel how it is after being reincarnated? How is it to be the other creature? Do you still remember your past life? Well....i don't remember anything.

Only thing i remember is my name. Afro....Such melodic name. But what does it mean? Where am i? What am i? Who am i?

A lot of questions come into my conscious as i looked at the sky. It was dark and deep night, i remember. The wind was cool and blew my feathers gently. I was laying on the grass. For a moment, i didn't feel my body. I wasn't sure if it was my body at all. I tried to move it. Only arms move somehow. Then, i moved the wiggly things on my arms, or how humans call them "fingers". After several tries, i tried to get up. It was so unusual, not like you used to move. I took a sitting position and looked at my hands. They were....human. My body was human. My head hurt when i tried to remember something, so i left this moment. I looked around: i was in what it looked like a grass field.

"It's....so beautiful and peaceful"

I was thinking to myself. And yet, it scared me as i was alone here. Nobody that could help me, to guide me. Humans usually panic at such moments. But....i didn't feel it. I was.....glad?

But my loneliness was not long as i heard....purring. Somebody was purring. I looked around and noticed a pink spot not so far from me. I crawled towards it as the spot began to be more clear.

When i got there, i saw....a creature. It was sleeping so peacefully. I didn't know why, but....it reminded me of a cat. You know, ears, tail, paws.

"What is it doing here?"

I asked myself. I couldn't help, but be curious about this cat. Sadly, it was deep late and my body felt so exhausted. I didn't know why, maybe it was my body's reaction to the time. I got comfy next to the cat and fall asleep. I planed to solve some questions that i had in my head. About me....about this cat....

About everything.

And that's the end of the small story. Ot's first time i do such commission where i write a story and draw a picture to it at the same time XD And still, i hope you will like it^^
