It felt like we were all startups in an accelerator,
except we were all people and the accelerator was the summer program we were all in. The first week went by really slowly, an inverse of how quickly everyone became friends. We all worked at different startups that were hosted or have been hosted by two different startup accelerators/incubators, NXTP & Wayra.
I'm sorry that none of the photos in this post are going to make you foodjealous ): Here's us at NXTP though. Danni (xoxodx, the girl going :D and I are at startups based in Wayra, which you'll get to see a picture of later). Little did I know how grateful I would be to be in the same office space as her and be able to spend so much time with her.
This is as close to a group photo as we've gotten thus far, taken on the first week. Still missing one guy who arrived later in the week. If nothing else, I'm going to try to get a full group photo before we leave.
I'll never forget the unforgettable experience of being thrown into an amazing group of people and bonding with them all almost instantaneously in the first week. As you can see the the photo below, me and Joe were picture buddies. At the time, little did I know that we were going to be together much more than just in front of a camera.
I can't believe that looking back, this was us seven weeks ago, at our first bar watching the Argentina vs Bosnia game. Eleven students (in the picture) who had only known each other for a little under a week. And now we're a little over a week before we have to say goodbye to each other.
Even if only a temporary goodbye, I'm still going to miss everyone here and not pictured here. I've had a hell of an experience at my time here and I'm going to have a hell of a time writing up what I was up to.
