Rian was drunk which could only mean two things: 1) he was stressed or 2) he was celebrating. With the way he behaved when he saw the other, it would be assumed the latter was true, but with Rian, it could never be sure.

13. a blown kiss. 

Margaret was about to head home for Toronto. Her business in Nova Scotia was coming to a close. Her ride to the airport had just pulled up, and she gave Douglas a big hug before grabbing her luggage and running toward it. As she finally got her bags packed and got settled in her seat she requested that the driver roll the window down.

With a big smile on her face, she waved and blew a big kiss in the other’s direction.
