Things that happened in 2024 because my brain isnt convinced it was that big of a year for me:

went from being sure I'd stay at my school to applying to another one within a month, without regretting it

thought I was free of my main bully once and for all, the wasn't because he came back

Endure multiple death and violence threat and what was essentially a fear for my safety for almost two months

Almost tripled my amount of characters, made like twenty AUs and broke a lot of moral barriers that I was really scared of breaking

Made multiple generations?

Lost a character and bawled my eyes out about it

Multiple ideas for movies, plays and songs based in my characters lifes

made a lot of new friends!

got better on my mental health

Fell in love so many times I stopped counting

Got into and out of my first relationship

started working out

almost lost my grandfather

went to Belgium

Made new friends in France

Started learning french

Made up half a language, codes and multiple different systems of categorization for my characters

Started organizing most of my daydream information and actually stayed consistent

Learnt more about the world than ever

So yeah... Huge fucking year?! Don't know why my brain Inst convinced of it still

SAD STUFF ABOUT MY PARAS:

Nya used exclusively they/them pronouns after having their first children (the twins) because they felt so forced into the feminine role of a mother and they hated it so much

Mary started using they/them pronouns at like 12 years old because they liked how neutral it was, and also because she hated being compared to the Virgin Mary and that gave her a feeling they didn’t like (gender dysphoria)

she also thought about changing their name but stuck with it because they saw a young trans girl picking the name Mary and she thought „oh maybe if there is smth good attached to this name (the kid) I can be smth good attached to this name too“

Regulus‘s dad was an alcoholic, he hated it almost as much as regulus did and reg was rlly scared to become like him, but his older brother grew up and showed him that he didn’t have to be

On that topic, Jake (his older brother) literally held on through his depression and his SI just for Regulus, because he wanted to show him that he didn’t have to end up like his dad or his older brother

I think I touched onto Regulus‘s and Nya‘s eds before but basically regulus went into treatment when his mother started listening to him (he was 12) and he was in recovery by the time he met Nya (he was 16, so were they)

and reg basically helped Nya all throughout her recovery and they both kinda lifted each other up when it got bad again
