That causes all sort of shenanigans, such as walking into people and things-- and, at the beginning, people did not realize why was it. As such, once Gabriel threw him a jar of godamn bratwrursts so he would open it up, and he and knocked him down the chair.
Really? Omg Message me! And poor Reinhardt probably does have some seeing problems. I have a headcanon that he wears one contact to try and help him. And Gabe, be careful! He probably runs into chairs and desks and tables all the time. Poor Reinhardt and his bruised legs and hips (and poor liver).
