I was never huge into Winx as a kid... I might have watched it a couple times. Never more than 5 episodes. For some ungodly reason, despite the series being out for 500 years and even the dub having some shoehorned in lines that sound kinda gay, the fandom at large has never seemed to grasp just how satisfying Irateshipping is on every single possible level. There are so many untapped possibilities for this ship, and yet there’s virtually no content out there. The Japanese fandom seemed to get behind Yami no MalikxJyounouchi for a while, but JyounouchixMalik is this untapped, glorious pool of hilarity and potential for angst and general teenage stupids that the fandom just... never really seemed to consider? Rishid and Jyounouchi maintain some kind of contact after Battle City in canon and have a good relationship, and in the anime, at least, Honda could potentially bond over motorcycles with Malik, Yuugi “saved” both of them from being varying degrees of shitheads, Jyounouchi has experience getting out of a gang... So many things these fools could make out over, but no. Zero content if Host or I don’t have a hand in it. :(

Despite Redwall being my formative Thing I don’t think I ever committed to a canon-compliant OC for that franchise, and if I did, it would’ve been a mouse because baby-me wanted to marry Martin and he’s a mouse. But I believe Legend of Luke opened talking about a hedgehog maid and I really liked her.
