The Chrysler Building The classic building was seen from the northwest corner of the New York Public Library (looking eastward along 42nd Street). Another landmark, Grand Central Station, lies between where I was standing and the Chrysler—in my mind, this is the center of the universe.

Seven Train

This was taken on the outbound platform of the Seven Train at 72nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Landmarks of Manhattan are visible in the background—one can see the Empire State, the Chrysler, and Citicorp Buildings along with a cluster of midtown towers toward the right side of the frame.

San Gennaro Feast

I took these while studying photography at Pratt Institute. I was into a blur/flash technique at the time that gives both sharpness and movement; these are film (of course) as it's the fall of 1982.
