I illustrated the largest Art Deco building in the world — the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The architects had to fit the world's biggest hotel together with apartment house, ballrooms, exhibition rooms and garages into a single building. '520 West 28th Street', what a catchy name for a building, hey? Most of the people (me included) probably know it as 'Zaha Hadid on the High Line'. It's her only NYC residential projects and one of the last ones before her death.⁠
