Did you know that the deadline to register to vote in NYC for the November is tomorrow, October 8th?
With that in mind, I'm sharing the art I made for a voter registration effort in Columbus, Ohio earlier this year. Some intermediate stages of the drawing and final postcard art if you swipe through (pen and watercolor).
More about the card: "The register to vote card was for an Indivisible 12 voter registration project of first time voters. The group recognized that graduating High School seniors were turning 18 but may not have yet registered to vote. The project had volunteers canvassing at the homes of those recently graduated students for voter registration. Indivisible 12 is a progressive political organization based in Ohio's 12th Congressional District although its projects extend throughout the Columbus, Ohio area."
