The first serial number used in 195 was 204000. The Chickering Piano Company built about 1,900 pianos in 1955. . This item is locate in an elevator building in an condo complex. It's an easy way out with the exception that the elevator is small, but - if it came in, it must come out. It comes from a talented artist who recently passed and we are selling items on behalf of his son. Dust has settled in the string area but like any piece of vintage or antique acquire an an estate is needs some cleaning. Some of the black laquer come off some areas (see more pictures in the Ebay link) We will also post a video of the keys being played or we can send the video along with more pics at your request.
