72nd Street station (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line) ( #2 Train )

72nd Street train station is an express station on Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of Broadway, 72nd Street and Amsterdam Avenue (including Verdi Square and Sherman Square) on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It is served by the 1, 2, and 3 trains at all times.

The 72nd Street station contains two island platforms and four tracks. The outer tracks are used by local trains while the inner two tracks are used by express trains.

There is a free transfer from with uptown & downtown direction.

Location: W 72 St between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave

This station is 116 years old.

34th Street Train Station ( #2 Train ) 

34th Street–Penn Station is an express station on the Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York Subway. Located at the intersection of 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, it is served by the 1 and 2 trains at all times, and the 3 train at all times except late nights. Connections are available to the LIRR, NJ Transit and Amtrak at Pennsylvania Station.

One island platform, two side platforms. This station has free transfer with the 1, 2 or 3 trains going both directions ( uptown & downtown ). Very busy station and is never empty but got to shoot these images because of the pandemic.

Exits and Entrance locations - W 34 St and 7th Ave, W 33 St and 7th Ave,W 32 St and 7th Ave

Houston St Train Station ( #1 Train )

Houston Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at West Houston and Varick Streets in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train at all times and by the 2 train during late nights. 

This station you can not transfer to the other side to go from uptown to downtown because there is no under or over pass to connect. You have to exit and pay again sadly.

191 st Train Station ( #1 Train ).....

191st Street is a station on the Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City. Located at the intersection of St. Nicholas Avenue and 191st Street in the Washington Heights, it is served at all times by the 1 train. It is the deepest station in the New York City Subway system—about 173 feet (53 m) below street level. Access to the station's main entrance is only provided by four elevators to the mezzanine. A pedestrian tunnel also extends west from the station 1,000 feet to Broadway.

This station has a free transfer if you are going from uptown to downtown.

42nd Times Square Train Station  ( #1 Train )

Times Square–42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal is a New York City Subway station complex located under Times Squareand the Port Authority Bus Terminal, at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh and Eighth Avenues, and Broadway in Midtown Manhattan. It is the busiest station complex in the system, serving 64,531,511 passengers in 2016.

This station is one of the biggest stations to transfer to many trains, uptown or downtown trains.

1, 2, 3, 7, A, E, N, and Q trains at all times

C, R, and 42nd Street Shuttle (S) trains at all times except late nights

I am glad I got to shoot this station during the Corona pandemic because this station would never be this empty without this pandemic we are in today.

34th Street Penn-Station ( #1 Train )

34th Street–Penn Station is an express station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 34th Street and Seventh Avenue, it is served by the 1 and 2 trains at all times, and the 3 train at all times except late nights. Connections are available to the LIRR, NJ Transit and Amtrak at Pennsylvania Station.

This station is big and always crowded. It has uptown, 1,2, & 3 trains as well as 1,2, & 3 trains going downtown on other tracks.

Canal St Train Station ( #1 Train )

Canal Street is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway, located in Lower Manhattanat the intersection of Canal and Varick Streets. It is served by the 1 train at all times and by the 2 train during late nights.

This station you can not transfer to the other side to go from uptown to downtown because there is no under or over pass to connect. You have to exit and pay again sadly.
