There was an orca I remember in my past life, who looked somewhat like this. She always tried to dominate me, but she left before we could settle together.

I still wonder where she is.

I used to perform for the human masses as a whale. I can’t remember if I was ever wild. I can’t even remember my mother’s face or how the sea felt against my skin.

Perhaps the facility’s flashing lights and booming music and the influx of faces so different from mine are the only thing I had known since then.

And yet I still want to come back and see if the humans still like me and my funny little dances.

Sometimes I wonder about my daughter. After I died giving birth I can only wonder what happened to her as I am now here. The only thing I can hope for is that she lived with a parental figure and had a good life without me.

I can’t guarantee that ever happened though. I do not know where I was at the time nor who I even was, so I have no way of staying updated about her. So I can only stay hopeful
