It isn't too early to think about your dragon age 4 protag, considering I made my Inquisitor a full year before DA:I came out lmao.

I commissioned @kidovna of my Inquisitor, Nyla Lavellan and my DA:D protagonist, Alon—may not be her final name!—doing some plotting to try and get rid of Solas. See idk if the Inquisitor would actually appear in the game but idc this scene still happens in my heart 🥺.

Bhavna did such a great job of translating whatever notes I have of the scene and my DA4 protag (who up to this point I've been describing as filipino goth jane su from one last stop who does fake blood magic) into this beautiful art piece! I'll be forever screaming about it. I love the mysterious vibes of it which is perfect for DA4 vibes (I think).

14. What are some of the skills or things the character teaches to their children? Some family traditions, or particularly important life lessons? How about their partner?

Dora: Nyla taught her how to duel and Josie taught her politics. Life lesson from Nyla: don’t be afraid to take a chance

24. Has having children changed the character? How?

Kind of? Nyla used to hate being tied down in place at a time, and definitely hates settling down. But after getting married to Josie, and adopting Dora, she enjoys it more? She accepts that she’s done adventuring and promises to take care of Dora.

I posted about this on twitter but I might as well throw it here.

I’m really proud how I designed nyla and gabriela to look like their ages or close enough to their ages (35 vs 25 respectively, so a 10 year difference). Nyla looks rugged, experienced (which she is, as an ex-pirate captain) while Gabriela looks fresh-faced, inexperienced. 

Maybe it’s also cause of their respective games. Bioware said the age range for Inquisitors is between 19-40 while Ryder is supposed to be 22. (I aged up the Ryder twins bc of their background. Like I made them go to university and also serve in the Alliance). So their respective CC reflects it? 

(Also I am proud that Nyla looks close enough to 35. Inquisition produced a lot of baby faced elves so I mean...)

Im importing my da2 squad and da:i squad to andromeda bc of those messages Bear in mind i know like 5 planets Captain I. Is chilling with her girlfriend, C. Hawke in Kadara because lord knows that planet needs another suave bisexual and a gay disaster duo. A scout going by the name "The Inquisitor" is seen doing planetary expidtions around Heleus Cluster with a small group of four. Some say they run with V. Tethras' folk. Some say the Inquisitor has a certain diplomat they would wish to wake up aboard the Hyperion. Dr. Salvatorez-Trevelyan (as he insist on being referred to, please don't call him anything else) is one of the doctors on the Nexus. He gets starry eyed at the mustachiooed ambassador.
