man I haven't even sketched in yearsss 😭😭😭 lemme see what's in my folder

I did this thing of Ming dynasty China and Qing dynasty Manchuria like, 8 months ago? And at that point I'd already stopped drawing for a long time bc of life yk, and this was supposed to be my Big Comeback (tm) like I was gonna sit down and do a properly rendered painting like I used to do years ago, but it just... never happened 💀 and it probably never will, so here it is!

also I found these sketched designs I did for a calender project that ended up falling through. My characters were nyo china, nyo mongolia, mongolia, and america, and for a while I was like 'what am I gonna do with such different characters...' but I ended up settling on empire! Nyo Mongolia first outfit was too modern for 'empire' so I tried to do one based off of a Yuan dynasty empress painting with the big tall hat hehe

Ciel continued to make her way across the city, when a spot of blue caught her eye. She halted trying to make out if what she thought she saw was true. Was that her miraculous? Maybe sending down a bird would help her get a better look. A moment later, a blackbird flew down, starting to circle the girl. @ask-miraculous-nyomongolia

Mouton looked up, her eyes following the little bird before extending a hand out to let it land. “I’m afraid I’m the wrong twin, if you’re looking for Rodeur, she’s still by the tower, with her friends.” She said, assuming for the moment that this might be Merle, or Merle’s friend Rodeur called step-dad.  It was possible the blackbird had been switched, but it seemed more likely if they were looking for either twin it was still them and they would be searching for her younger sister.

In retrospect, Sükh should have been paying attention better to where she was walking. Half of her shoes were submerged. Why was there water, here of all places? And why, she took a breath, and was suddenly feeling sad? A sob in the distance caught her attention. Despite the uneasy feeling she followed it to the source, to find a younger boy standing ankle deep in, what she now discovered, were tears. "Hey kid?" She called out, ignoring the building weight in her chest. "What's wrong?"

Sobs left his lips while Despair was his whole body was wracked with tears. Trembling and shaking as tears continued to flow. Tears plopping down upon the ground. Not caring about the soaking feeling of his shoes. He could feel some of his tears flowed into his lips- tasting the salty tears that streamed down upon his face. His eyes stared upon his reflection from the tears on the ground. Seeing the pain that consumed him whole.

It was then he heard a voice. Another voice. He turned to the source quickly before turning away.
