I spent the last few days thinking how we were a year ago.. we all woke up to a global pandemic and suddenly our lives stopped, our world was on pause and we were facing the biggest challenge of our generation. We were scared and lost with so many questions and fears for what’s next and how we can protect ourselves and our loved ones. We all needed a miracle, we all needed God, we all needed our families, we all needed help from someone but the most important we all needed to be strong for ourselves first! Through this difficult time we all came together as one because that was the only way to fight against this virus! We supported each other, we helped each other, we found quality time to spent for ourselves and for our families, something that we didn’t have before. This pandemic changed us, most of us in a good way.. we found parts of ourselves that we forgot about, we shared #love with strangers, we helped people that we didn’t know before, we saw real life #heroes working day and night 27/4 to save our people, we saw the whole world fighting against the same enemy! Our city went through so much pain but we didn’t give up.. We fought against this virus as one! We were united because this is what we do as #NewYorkers and when we are TOGETHER nothing can’t stop us! Here we are now a year later, We are healing, we are STRONG, we are coming back and we are optimistic for our future, our DREAMS and our city! Our #NewYork will be stronger than ever because we never gave up, we never left (most of us) and we will never leave. A year later what remember lives.. this is how we will HONOR the ones we lost.. we will always remember.. always & forever. #NewYorkCity we will SHINE again stronger than ever before because this is who we are! #NYTough #NYForever ♥️ (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMcVuNmAOCv/?igshid=bs9gzrjnivx6
