i feel like people don't understand that you can dislike a character while also understanding that they're well written and cool like you can find a character annoying (lord knows i find a lot of characters annoying) but at a certain point people start holding these characters (who are usually women) to unrealistic standards to fuel their dislike and i'm so sick and tired of it

will actually sleeps at the foot of his and hannibal's shared bed like a wet dog and hannibal has asked him to stop multiple times but he refuses

the romance in merlin is so confusing because merlin and arthur are a package deal, but arthur loves gwen (who lancelot loved) and merlin definitely had a crush on morgana, but gwaine was down bad for merlin (so were half the knights) and then merlin pulled more women than any other male character

is anyone else thinking about pergwaine??? is anyone else thinking about how they had this sort of unspoken understanding that neither of them wanted/expected to become knights and that they probably felt so out of place in the castle and could only find comfort in each other on those bad nights? is anyone thinking about how gwaine's last words were him believing he failed and percival never got to tell him otherwise? is anyone else thinking about how percival probably carried that guilt with him till he died because he had the chance to comfort gwaine but he didn't say anything?
