Apparently we’re chuggin right along through my GW2 cast this month! I’ve been wanting to do a special tribute to Nyverea here for a very long time, as her design is probably one of my favorites out of all my characters ever. This is also my first time rendering a sylvari and if I was smart, it would be my last (I am not smart) Nyverea is an older ‘vari and has spent almost the entirety of her life in the Grove, where she works as a tender for newly awakened saplings. She has a knack for wrangling their unfettered personalities with a mixture of grace and dry humor. The rare few who return and remember her will always find Nyverea to be a happy, if weary audience for their adventures abroad.

Finally something that isn’t Wildstar, omg. These are my main sylvari ladies in GW2 that have survived the test of Is This a Character I Will Actually Play or Just an Impulse Design (except for Olive at the bottom there, she gets made in any game I play with a wee woodland race) Nyverea, Jraxe and Oliverae, respectively. I don’t really know enough about GW2 lore to type a whole lot about them yet, but, someday!

Just a sketch I did earlier of my new night elf character, Nyverea. She’s gonna be a crew member on the Dusk Veil, and she’s a pretty decent sharpshooter. Also, I have bust commissions always open! You can check them out here!
