NEW ZEALAND BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION - BREAST CREAM
PROBLEM: Breast cancer, if detected early, does not have to be terminal. Women aren’t checking their breasts often enough.
IDEA: Partnered with Skin Food to create a moisturiser that is designed specifically to make women check their breasts for lumps a part of their regular beauty routine - a behavioural change that could potentially save thousands of lives. $2 from every sale will go directly to The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation to help education, innovation, research and support for women with breast cancer.
A clever print ad was also created, positioning Breast Cream as the first skin cream that gives you wrinkles—because, of course, using it might well allow you to live a much longer life.
RESULTS:

Check out @skinfoodnz #breastcream and get to know your boobies! ☺️❤️ Using this nourishing lotion not only benefits your skin, but applying this regularly helps women get to know how their breasts look and feel normally so they can quickly pick up on any changes that could be signs of cancer. Because the early signs of breast cancer can be more than just a lump, if you notice any changes make sure you get checked up by a doctor immediately. ⭐️ This breast Cream is available from www.skinfood.co.nz, and $2 of every sale will go directly to @nzbcf 👌🍕 #OOroutine #skinfood #nzbcf

Hi everyone,
This year, myself and my partner are taking part in the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation's Pink Star Walk on October 4 and I would like to ask for your help in raising money for it.
The cost of registration covers the cost of running the event, so ALL of the money donated will go towards the following:
Breast cancer research including The NZBCF’s Breast Cancer Patient Registers
Breast cancer awareness for early detection
Support for women recovering from or living with breast cancer
This cause is very close to my heart. In February next year, it will be five years since my mum passed away from breast cancer, after struggling with it for three years. I would love if you can donate so that fewer women have to struggle.
My goal is $600 - this will fund two women for 5 sessions of rehabilitation.
Here is the link to our donation page - http://www.pinkstarwalk.co.nz/page/amygraemesfundraisingpage
Thanks in advance for the support!
Amy
Sooooo I'm doing a TRIATHLON (my first real one so only a teeny bit terrifying) and raising money for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and it would be freaking awesome if I could get some of Tumblr to help me reach my fundraising goal! This is an amazing charity and I'm stoked to be in a position to help them.
Side Note: Nerdfighteria New Zealand (and the rest of the world, you're all welcome) please find it in your hearts to help a fellow nerdfighter be brave enough to go out into the big scary world and do an awesome scary thing for an amazing cause =)
So basically you should all check out my fundraising page and if you could all give a little I would be incredibly grateful!
