O Allah, forgive them and elevate their station among those who are guided. Send them along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and them, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for them their graves and shed light upon them in it. O Allah, forgive them and have mercy on them and give them strength and pardon them. Thriving w/o Education
So since I’ve been young, my parents have always taught me to try to succeed in life. They always taught me to study hard and be something some day. Alhamduliah, I achieved something even though I was going through depression.
But it’s amazing, as I see in the western world - especially the American south part of the United States, where people with no education (some don’t even have a high school diploma) “thriving” in their lives. Their concept of thriving is basically breathing in life. They do so basically by earning free money from the government, while they sit being jobless and at home where their parents fulfill all their wishes and needs. They have had everything handed to them on a silver platter. For these people, not having an education didn’t do much of a difference. I am just amazed at how some people can live without having any goal in life. As for me personally, I just can’t do without education. It makes one intellectual.
Please before you judge me (dear reader) know that I highly value education, but I don’t devalue people who try hard and can’t always succeed. But I don’t give any value to people who are the kind of people who would put down anyone defending the innocent people who were murdered mercilessly by Brenton Tarrant in New Zealand. These are also the same people who claim things like “Islam is this and Islam is that” without knowing the proper grammar or punctuation in English - their only language. They can’t tell the difference between their “their, they’re or there” or “could have” and “could of” - which by the way isn’t even grammatically correct. They don’t have any education whatsoever yet they act like they are well read in Islam or as if they are some sort of an Islamic scholar.
This is exactly why everyone in this world needs an education - even if it means a basic education.
P.S. I came here from a third world country and English isn’t even my first or second language, yet I can still write better than them. I am not judging them, but I also don’t like the fact that they have the audacity to judge my religion, when they can’t write a basic sentence without making many punctuation and/or grammatical errors within it.
P.P.S. You won’t see Muslims going around insulting someone’s religion or their religious figure - calling them obscene names, like these illiterates do.
