Which photo do you like more? 1️⃣ Holding my own hand 🤝 2️⃣ Checking my own pulse 😂 . Now that I got you reading (😏), I just want to share my thoughts with you. Every person has their own insecurities and my hands are definitely one of my least favourite parts of my body. They're quite veiny and my knuckles are massive! 😭 (My hopelessly unscientific brain blames it all on the years of excessive knuckle-cracking...) So, doing this photo shoot was unsurprisingly challenging – I couldn't find the right angles to make my hands look prettier or more graceful than they are. I looked at the beautiful nail art adorning my hands and it gave me the idea of doing an edgier shoot. I started playing with harsh lighting and shadows, grabbing and twisting hands in different ways to make weird shapes. Pretty stoked with the outcome, even though it was completely different from what was in my head! My hands might never look like ones in an ad, but they look kind of powerful and cool! I could say, "This is a body positivity post." But to be honest, I'm not sure what the purpose of writing this is... 😂 Thanks for reading! x .
