Back to school
This was traumatic, I expected things to pick up where I had left off but this was not to be. My friends had moved on, a lot had happened in the months I had been away, the dynamics had all changed and it was almost like my first day. There were a few friends who didn’t treat me differently which made things a bit better.
Education itself was ok, I was asked if I wished to go back a year but I didn’t, I should of started my O'level studies and was now behind the rest of my year due to the time lost. Never the less I took an exam in the June and was rewarded with an O'level in September, not a brilliant mark but a pass. Some teachers came to the house in the evening to give me extra tuition, maths and history I do remember. The early exam was not only remarkable for me but for all of us who had taken it a year early and I hadn’t done as much working as them. I wish all my other O'levels went this way, but sadly not, I finished up with very few. I spent the time my friend were doing A levels doing resits for my O'levels , some of these I completed at college with a varying amount of success.
