“Why do radio stations only play like five songs the whole day? I like to listen to the radio, but it’s annoying when after two hours you’ve heard the same songs three times.”
Calla stood up from her seat in the coffee shop when she heard her name get called for her order. However, someone was right in front of her way, blocking her path to the one thing that was keeping her awake. “Excuse you. I need to get through.” She hissed, obviously distressed just from her lack of sleep. The daycare had put her in charge of some field trips with some kids they felt needed the socialization. “You know, I just get so much joy in my day listening to stay at home mothers asking me about what I think about Super Foods and how many pounds of kale they should eat a week and if we have Sweet N’Low to put in juices ----- because, yeah. Artificial sweeteners are so good for you.” Running his hands over his eyes, the male let out a low groan.
Tapping her pen against the table, Poppy sighed focusing back on the page she been staring at for at least an hour. Aradia was busy working on her small garden when she heard the footsteps. She didn’t expect any company of any sort so she just assumed the person was passing by as she dropped seeds into the fresh dirt. She wanted to grow more herbs to use for spells this year and this seemed like a good a time as any to start. “You’ll be very beautfiul someday soon,” she murmured softly.
"Oh dear, I’m so sorry. Were you talking to me?”
