It says “olive skin.” Black hair. I was personally thinking of Italian/Mediterranean origin (though it doesn’t have to be), but…wouldn’t that be considered European and thus “white,” especially for these people? This debate has always confused me.
I think depending on who you talk to, Spanish and Portuguese people are Hispanic (i.e. from Hispania) and therefore "POC" (I dislike the acronym but still). Although personally, as someone neither from North or Latin America, European origin pretty consistently means "white", whether it means Slavic, Germanic, Anglo-Saxon, Celtic or Mediterranean, but admittedly, a person with at least partial indigeneous American ancestry (which at least some definitions of Hispanic and Latino fall under) wouldn't necessarily count as white. Basically, race is complicated and varies from country to country.
But that said, "native" olive skinned? Really? I mean, there's dozens or hundreds of tribes, so maybe I'm thinking of a stereotypical picture of Native Americans.
