I must honestly tell you that US Americans act fundamentally different from the Europeans I am used to party with. They dance different. Act different. Usually I end up meeting drunk girls in the bathroom that compliment me and want to take selfies and then we hang out for a bit

I mean, I guess the moral of the story is that not all experiences are universal, but here are a couple of my wilder nights out: Tequila shots and dancing on the DJ’s stage wiht my friends while watching a pair of dudes literally dry hump on a table in the corner; grinding between two other people (one in front, one in back) while watching a girl bend over and invite people to touch her boobs (They were good boobs)

they definitely aren’t! those sound like really fun nights though. look i’m just out for the validation and cheap affection, i’m a simple bitch with simple wants

And the night that I and two other friends had to form a protective barrier around my sibling because a guy who was so drunk that he was literally walking around with his eyes closed and didn't seem to realize it asked them, before even asking their name, if he could kiss them. The first two were very fun nights, and the last one was a very bad night. In my experience, clubbing either goes VERY GOOD or VERY BAD and...there's literally no in-between.

oh dear that’s not good at all!!! depends on what your VERY GOOD is, though. are you the person who just wants to dance and have a good time with your group of friends, or the person whose night is not Very Good if they haven’t gotten off with six people? you do you. that’s the best thing about it, it’s chill

@cursed-saphire-hart God I don’t even think she’s conscience of how much she’s trying to get him. I’m sure she would have a totally different attitude if she knew what was really going. I guess we’ll find out?? 

@oatmealcoloured Oh no I don’t think so. Granted, I’ve seen a few people post things that definitely feel...super one sided. But for the most part, I’m sure it’s just the fandom being over protective of Bum. It’s like you said, people were just as mad at the big asshole guy not getting up when Bum had to pee. Plus, Sangwoo followed in after him to talk about how much his friends wanted to mess with him. They’re all assholes.

I've just read you YoI metas regarding ep12 and... Yes. All of that. I think it threw me as much as it did because things were happening unexpectedly? And not in a Red Wedding/ Banquet scene which you couldn't anticipate but makes so much sense looking back. More in a "but that's not what the narrative was about for 11 episodes!" way which just frustrates me very much. I heard that, apparently, Japanese fans were really happy to see Victor go back to skating and had been clamoring for it (1/2)

(2/2) which makes me a bit mad because the narrative itself tells me that Victor never planned to go back to skating because it made him so unhappy. I understand all of the "you need goals and narrative in S2". But the arcs were clearly planned for one season and to change them disrupted a narrative that had been great about cohesion up to that point. Victor should'nt go back to skating. Yuuri should've won. That's what the narrative told me to expect and I really want VxY to have a long talk...

I can’t find it now, but I remember back when the series just started airing reading an interview saying that they had only planned one season and so wrote it as such. As in, with a proper conclusion. Episode 12 just completely deviated from everything that came before it and left things as open-ended as possible. Knowing that Japanese fans were clamoring for Victor to get back to skating just further confirms things for me that the ending we got was not the original one. No matter what anyone from the staff says.

it’s a bit easier when you’re bi/pan but it still really sucks to have to stay closeted in front of family *hugs* being gay at uni is easier

thank you!!! it is much easier at uni, isn’t it? fully intend to not come out to my parents until they finish paying for my education lmao. it helps that i’m naturally extremely femme so passing as straight is p feasible
