I just realized that I need to rehome a plant (sad day, but it’ll do better with my parents in a more humid environment) but that means I get to get something new! I was wondering if you could recommend a good house plant that doesn’t require a lot of humidity? It would be going on a West facing window

Lots of waxy leaved houseplants aren’t as fussy about humidity. Like pothos, heart-leaved philodendron cultivars, satin pothos (Scindapsus), etc. Also peperomias are great! They would dig that brighter light and are more succulent and don’t need any added humidity. Spider plants are also pretty chill with regular house humidity and would enjoy that light. Also, snake plants, of course.

For that post about the math question and Beethoven, that is what American textbooks are like. A teacher might make a quiz where the answer is still 40 min, but textbooks don’t actually look at how much sense the question makes and will throw together anything as long as it has two variables

I turn 28 this weekend and my skin got worse. I think it’s because of the climate where I moved, but yeah.
