The 7th chapter of my obishirazen fic.

I’ve been having some difficulty staying in-line with canon after the return to Lyrias chapter since it started to conflict with what I already had.  however I’ve decided to steam ahead and try to stay in line as much as possible without sacrificing my own ideas.

This is eventually a Obi/Shirayuki/Zen fic, but as of this chapter it’s more Obi/Zen.

It started out as an Obi character study that was meant to just imply a more open relationship, but it’s changed a bit as I was writing it.

The title name actually comes from a type of plant you can grow in the Rune Factory 4 game.  I feel a shield sorta fits Obi with his relationship between Shirayuki and Zen since he seems to really want to protect and stay beside both of them.

So it would seem as if I’m far from being alone in my love for Zen, Shirayuki, and Obi all loving each other. So the big question is…what is their ship called? I did a tag search for ObiShiraZen and only one result, and the same result shows up for ZenShiraObi. I wonder which one will end up sticking as the season goes on.
