I don’t really know how they’d meet but to sum my au up:

Tenzo knows that Obito is an Uchiha (he’s seen his sharingan) and has Mokuton just like him. But he doesn’t know his name so he just calls him “Mokuton Uchiha-san” .. Obito kind of vanished before the uchiha massacre and Tenzo concluded that he had been killed alongside his clan.
